LJ Reyes reflects on her 'most humbling year'

By Bianca Geli

LJ Reyes is walking into 2023 with high hopes and self-reflection over the past year.

The Kapuso actress has been living in the U.S. since 2021 with kids Aki and Summer.

While she is closer to her mother and sister who are based in the U.S., LJ shared that it hasn't always been easy transitioning into a new life.

LJ made a post on Thursday, looking back on 2022 and calling it her "most humbling year" to date.

She wrote, "To the most humbling year that I will put behind, so long 2022! I will keep all the learnings close to my heart and move forward with brightest hope and unwavering faith. I am blessed to have my kids with me no matter what. Let's go 2023!"

The recent holiday season has been extra special for LJ and her kids as they spent Christmas Day 2022 at a Church service, with Aki and Summer joining the worship performances.

She shared, "Christmas Day 2022 was an answered prayer for me! I have always hoped that I could attend service on the day which also happens to be my birthday and it finally happened! I attended Christmas service with my kids! And on top of that, my kids performed (together, on stage) for the first time!"
