After stepping away from the limelight, former actor and model Hans Montenegro established a career in the corporate world.
He was at the peak of his showbiz career when a controversial issue emerged in the '90s, leading him to leave the spotlight. Traumatized by the incident, he moved to the U.S., where he earned a master's degree in psychology from Santa Clara University in San Francisco. After transitioning from showbiz, Hans held senior roles in some of the Philippines' leading companies.
According to InsiderPH, Hans is set to step into a new spotlight as the incoming chief human resources officer and head of corporate services of Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) by January 2026.
The ex-actor-model has assumed the role first of First Vice President and Deputy Head for Human Resources before officially becoming the country's biggest electricity distributor's HR head.
Outside his impressive corporate career, Hans enjoys family life with his wife, interior stylist Marilen Faustino, and their children Santiago and Sabie. Hans also has a daughter with his ex-wife, Binibining Pilipinas World 1994 Cara Subijano named Ashley, who is also a beauty queen.
