Former child star Buboy Villar is happy to see his "Ate Yan" again.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera was all smiles when she was finally reunited with her former child sidekick, Sparkle comedian Buboy Villar.
The latter had the chance to work with Marian in several big TV projects on GMA Network like Dysebel (2008) and Darna (2009-2010).
On his Instagram post, the comedian-vlogger uploaded his selfie with Marian and wrote in the captions, “back in each other's arms.”
The Running Man PH star admitted in an exclusive video with GMANetwork.com that one of his fondest childhood memories was doing the primetime series Dyesebel.
Buboy also mentioned on Updated With Nelson Canlas podcast that the actress-TV host played a pivotal role in his career.
He explained, “Doon 'yung parang first click ko talaga na show [Dyesebel], e. Kung hindi dahil sa kaniya at sa direktor naming si Direk Joyce [Bernal], sa pagtiwala [nila] sa 'kin, hindi talaga mabubuo itong Buboy.
"Thank you, Ate Yan, kasi sobrang laki ng tulong at part mo sa buhay ko kasi ikaw 'yung naging ate ko no'n eh. Lalo na ngayon. Actually, mag-kumare kami. From mag-ate to mag-kumare,”
