How does Tom Rodriguez make a girl fall for him?

GMANetwork.com got the chance to have an exclusive interview with the Kapuso actor and since February is Kapuso month, we asked Tom a very timely question. What is his style in wooing the apple of his eye?
He recalled his high school days and shared that he used art as a means to impress girls. He would draw and paint girls he liked.
He said, “Dinadaan ko sa ganun, pero hit and miss pa rin. May pa-drawing drawing pa ako, kunwari comics na ‘yung cartoon character ‘yung nanliligaw sa babae, tapos sa end, may dialogue na “I think you should go with Tom to Prom”, ganun. Napakacheesy ‘pag naiimagine ko ngayon! Sometimes, ise-sketch ko rin sila.”
Now that he is in his twenties, Tom believes that the most sure fire way to win a girl’s heart is to just be yourself.
Tom said, “I fell into that trap before. Feeling ko kailangan ko talaga magpa-pogi points just to impress a girl. Mali ‘yung thinking na ganun kasi ipinapakita mo sa kanila hindi ‘yung totoong ikaw so ‘pag naging kayo, she will expect the version of you that you showed na hindi naman talaga ikaw.”
He emphasized, “If you just come as yourself and if they like you for who you are, then you have a win-win situation.”
For the Valentines of his dreams, Tom would like to visit Europe and go culture-soaking with his date.
He said, “Sabi nila lagi that Europe is the most romantic place. It’s very cinematic. Feeling ko kapag may camera ka, kahit hindi ka marunong sa photography, basta nasa Europe ka, maganda ‘yung kalalabasan na litrato. It’s the architecture and the history in that place. They have structures there that have endured thousands of years. It’s mind-boggling.”
Tom maintains that there is no need for grand gestures to have a memorable Valentines date. It all depends on the meaningful conversations between two people who like each other.
He added, “As long as it’s from the heart and you make an effort, I think you will never go wrong.”
