Solenn Heussaff signs three-year contract with GMA

February 6, 2014 marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Solenn Heussaff.
“Excited ako sa next three years,” says Solenn after signing an exclusive three-year contract with GMA Network. According to the stunning actress/host, her loyalty will always be with GMA.
“I was given the opportunity here sa GMA. Parang family na sa akin 'yung GMA from artists, to staff, to everyone. I want to stay talaga. At lahat ng artista sa GMA, sobrang bait. Dito [sa GMA] ako natuto sa lahat.”
Solenn is not picky when it comes to roles. She said, “I believe in ‘what goes around, comes around.’ Whatever is meant for me will happen. So there, I'm just excited about new projects and learning more.”
Quitting showbiz was something she considered years ago. She shared, “Dati sabi ko after three years, tatapusin ko na ang showbiz career ko. Pero ang bilis naman, tapos ang dami ko namang natutunan. So parang, I just want to learn more and see where this takes me.
"Kasi dati hindi ako nagtatagalog, and I'm not sure about myself. Then sobrang shy ko, sabi ko kapag showbiz, live the industry 'di ba? E hindi talaga ako 'yung type na nag-fake ng love interests or ganoon. Totoo talaga ako kapag interviews. So far, it’s been good too. I’ve learned so much and I want to learn more.”
In order to get the lead role, Solenn believes that she needs to work her best to improve her Tagalog. “Pero every soap is a challenge for me. Tapos every time I get better sa language din, so it's all a learning experience.”
What’s in store for Solenn this year?
“So far tuloy pa din ang Taste Buddies at Sunday All Stars. Tapos baka may bagong project din sa GMA News TV.”
