Any TV series headlined by Marian Rivera is a surefire hit and this time around, the Kapuso Primetime Queen has done it again. Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw trends on Twitter every night and good reviews keep coming in. What does Marian Rivera have to say about all of these?
GMANetwork.com visited the set of Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw and was granted an exclusive interview with the one and only Marian Rivera.
The award-winning actress said, “Siyempre nakakataba ng puso na nagugustuhan nila ‘yung Carmela. Sana patuloy nilang panoorin kasi nagsisimula pa lang.”
The clamor for the show is astounding. What should viewers look forward to in the coming episodes?
“Ang ipinapalabas ngayong week na ito ay ang bonding ni Yago at Carmela- kung paano sila naging magkaibigan. Lalalim nang lalalim ‘yan pero may mga pangyayari sa buhay ni Carmela na pipigilan na niya ang sarili niya,” said the drop-dead gorgeous actress.
Marian mentioned that the best thing about playing Carmela is the uniqueness of the role. She said, “Nandoon ako sa gitna ng bawal ang acting na bata at bawal ang sobrang matured. Nasa gitna ako noon.”
She further explained, “Hindi madali para sa akin iyon kasi pag bata, bata like Marimar and Dyesebel. ‘Pag matured, matured like Temptation [of Wife], ito nasa gitna ako noon. Ang hirap ding i-balanse pero hanggang sa nagtatagal ang taping, siyempre nagagamay na din.
