Miss Universe PH candidate Mary Angelique Manto stuns in white swimsuit

Former courtside reporter Mary Angelique Manto is making her presence felt online as she competes with 39 other ladies for the chance to represent the country in the prestigious Miss Universe 2023 pageant.

On her Instagram, Angelique shared her stunning photo wearing a sexy white swimsuit that caught the attention of celebrities.

Even fellow beauty queen, former Miss World Philippines Laura Lehmann commended her looks and Apoy sa Langit actress Lianne Valentin left a heart-eyed emoji in the comments section of her post.

In a separate post last February 19, Angelique talked about the importance of her joining the Miss Universe Philippines pageant this year.

She shared, “This is for that seven-year-old girl bullied into believing that she will never amount to the big dreams she has; this is for you silently struggling and battling to be seen, to be heard, to finally be understood; this is for the fulfillment of promises once made that will continue to live on -- an ode to my younger self. an ode to my father. an ode to mental health. an ode to my beloved Pampanga.”

Angelique added, “Excited to be carrying and telling our story as we journey on to the universe.”

According to pageant fans, some of the strongest contenders this year are Mga Lihim ni Urduja star Michelle Dee and Boholana beauty queen Pauline Amelinckx.
