Who is number one in Benjamin Alves’ heart?

There’s always something special about Valentine’s Day. Couples are extra sweet to each other and the constant yearning for romance permeates the atmosphere. For some, it’s all about the flowers and chocolates, but not for Kapuso hunk Benjamin Alves.
Unlike most people who would probably go out on a date today, Benjamin would be spending his Valentine’s on the set of Adarna. That doesn’t mean that today would be less fun for him. After all, he will be in the company of his co-stars who are also his close friends.
If he were to have a Valentine's date, what would make it perfect?
“Ako very simple lang, kahit dinner and movie, okay na ako. If I could cook, I would cook pero okay na ako na tatakbo kami sabay or magbi-bike. Something that can be shared by two people like the beach, I guess,” said Benjamin.
In the spirit of Kapuso month, we asked the dashing actor if there is anyone who occupies the number one spot in his heart right now.
He answered, “Meron naman, pero it’s percolating . Mahirap pangunahan, but maybe. Infatauation and kilig are such powerful feelings. Hopefully, everyone experiences it at least for the whole month of February.”
He also added that Kapuso month is not all about romantic love, but all forms of love. This includes his love for his fans.
Benjamin stated, “Everyone thinks that if you’re a Kapuso, you’re part of GMA or you’re working there or something, but really, the fans really are Kapuso. I hope every artist knows that being a Kapuso is all about the fans.”
He continued, “I really feel that I’m a Kapuso when I go to a regional [show] or when you go to a mall show and they’re there. They’re waiting hours before you’re there. That’s love, I think. That’s love for someone whom they don’t even have a connection with, just from a TV. That’s something powerful.”
