Geoff Eigenmann declares: 'I want a total lifestyle change'

Many were surprised when Geoff Eigenmann revealed his slimmer and more toned body when he starred as Migo Salva in the primetime telefantansya Adarna. Everyone was impressed by the Kapuso actor's dramatic weight loss, especially when he graced the cover of a health magazine last January.

GMANetwork.com sat down with Geoff during the Adarna live chat last February 4, and he excitedly talked about his new lifestyle, and if his girlfriend Carla Abellana is also doing the same thing.

We learned that Geoff has tried juicing like other celebrities, and he says he is currently enjoying it. "I've tried different kinds of juicing companies and I can't really decide yet which one is my favorite. Lahat sila, they have all done me good in my everyday life. I sleep early, I sleep better even if less hours. I just walked up 14 flights of stairs to get here and I feel good about it. It's something that I'm considering to do full time."

He is also still active when it comes to working out. "Tuloy-tuloy pa rin siya. I've been doing jiu-jitsu a lot. My MMA training is still ongoing. It's something I will stick to for the rest of my life. I want a total lifestyle change."

Sinasabayan ba siya si Carla sa kanyang diet at exercise?

"With juicing, she's trying but she's not a big fan of vegetables. She's more of a fruit juice type. The gym, I'm still trying to get her into [the gym] but she has her own methods like yoga. Mas gusto ko kasi ng high intensity, painful body workout. Siya naman 'yung relaxed," notes Geoff.

As for his magazine cover, Geoff admits he is using the pressure as additional motivation. "I guess the second time around puts more pressure because the change this time is more drastic than the first one so mas inabangan ito I guess. More pressure to keep on going basically, to keep myself motivated."
