Glaiza De Castro and Angelica Panganiban have enjoyed an enduring friendship despite being from rival networks.
The two first worked together in 'Berks,' a teen-oriented TV series which ran from 2002 to 2004. Since then, they have stayed in contact and have been friends for 20 years.
Glaiza and Angelica are supportive of each other's careers and personal lives and are always present during the important milestones of their lives.
On April 20, 2024, Angelica married her husband, Gregg Homan, for the second time in Siargao. It wouldn't be as successful without the help of Glaiza who served as the bride's matron of honor.
The Kapuso star and their other friends surprised Angelica with a bridal party, gave assistance to her best friend during her wedding, and delivered a touching speech that moved the guests to tears.
"Gusto ko lang sabihin na salamat. Sa dinami-dami mong pwedeng kaibiganin, pinili mong ituloy yung ka-weird-uhang sinimulan natin," Glaiza said in one part of her speech.
According to Angelica, Glaiza raised the standard of being a best friend and she will choose the latter over and over again to be her best friend.
