Wyn Marquez talks about the number one man in her life

“Gusto ko kasi (ang) humor niya talaga eh.”

Wyn used these words to describe her favorite guy – not a suitor or a boyfriend but her father, Joey Marquez.

The two are now closer than ever, not only in terms of their father-daughter relationship, but also with the network that they work in. The younger Marquez is nothing but ecstatic about her dad returning to the Kapuso network.

“Maka-work ko siya sana,” Wyn said. She was surprised when she saw Joey doing heavy drama in Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw as the foster father of Tupe and Josephine, played by Kristoffer Martin and Kim Rodriguez.

“Nagulat ako na nag-drama siya. [Noong napanood ko, sabi ko] ‘Oh my gosh, Daddy ko!’ Masaya [ako, kasi I get to see a] different him naman, di ba?” she said.

The young actress also identifies with her father in many ways. When asked what their similarities were, she replied, “Palaging nakangiti kahit medyo stressed. Siguro ['yun] din ang namana ko sa kanya. Kumbaga, huwag kang mag-complain sa mga nangyayari, just go with it and isipin mo lahat okay.”

Since her dad has already gained rich experiences in the industry, Wyn aspires to also be able to thrive in show business with the help of the example he has set. By exhibiting exemplary work ethic and showing kindness to everyone, she hopes to be able to go a long way.

“Kapag nakakasama niya 'yung ibang tao, nagagawa niya mapatawa lahat… Very light siyang kasama. Siguro ‘yun talaga ang gusto ko ma-achieve,” she shared.
