Rafael Rosell, baduy at cheesy sa love?

Almost four years naging single ang leading man ng The Borrowed Wife na si Rafael Rosell.

Sa exclusive interview ng GMANetwork.com last February 19, ibinahagi ng Kapuso actor na there’s someone special in his heart.

“Patuloy pa rin ang hashtag ko na #LoveLifeALLways. Sa mga nagpa-follow sa akin sa Instagram, I’m sure alam na I really love life always talaga,” nakangiti niyang sabi.

Hindi muna nag-girlfriend nang matagal na panahon ang Kapuso actor dahil, “I decide to stay single muna, i-rediscover ang sarili ko. Create the person I want to become. I think it’s preparation to be the perfect man for whoever I’m gonna marry or whoever’s gonna become my wife.”

May nag-advice din kay Rafael na “Don’t look for the perfect girl, just focus on becoming a perfect man tapos kusa na lang darating ‘yon.”

Inusisa namin kung sino ang special girl na kanyang dine-date ngayon.

“You found out for yourself na lang. I just don’t need to announce it,” aniya.

Paano ba namin malalaman kung sino siya?

“Just follow me in Instagram. Follow the clues. Follow the unicorn. As far as I’m concerned kasi, I like to keep it quiet. It’s a quiet life na hindi masyadong magulo. Nirerespeto ko rin ‘yon.”

Nagbibigay naman daw ng clues si Rafael sa kanyang Instagram at sa active followers niya.

“People find it agad. I give clues naman for the ones who are really active at following me. Binibigyan ko rin ng clues ‘yong mga interesado kung makuha nila ‘yong clues eh di very good.”

Ano ba ang clues na ito?

“Sabihin na lang natin na patuloy pa rin ang ‘unicorn’ adventure ko. Unicorn dahil unicorn is a rare creature. You can’t catch it and ride it at the same time. Para sa akin, search for a perfect mate is like searching for a unicorn. It’s more exploring the fact that someone could be that unicorn,” paliwanag niya.

Kinikilig na patuloy ni Rafael, “She’s very pretty.”

Ang payo niya sa iba: “After three years, I’ve been telling everyone na be single, find yourself. An advice that I want to give everyone. If you can’t complete yourself, how can you give the love that’s needed for the other person. ‘Yong insecurities, lalabas at lalabas. Kawawa naman ang taong kasama mo.”

Ayon pa sa actor, dapat hanapin ang sarili para maging best person na gusto mo para sa sarili mo. At maibigay rin nang buong-buong ang sarili sa taong mahal mo.

“Baduy ko nga, sobrang cheesy ko,” ang nahihiyang sabi ni Rafael.

Ipinagmalaki niya ang non-showbiz girl na kanyang dine-date sa ngayon.

“Parehas ‘yong interests namin. Pakiramdam ko na naiintindihan niya ako. I would like to say na siguro ganito dahil nagsisimula pa lang sa dating. Pero as far as I’m concerned, impression ko [talaga] parang totoo eh.”

"Her mind,” ang mabilis na sagot ni Rafael. “I get engaged by many minds. I like to get in good conversation. There’s depth in my friendships at in my relationships sa buhay. Pero ito kasi, she engaged my mind in a way na walang nakaka-engaged. That’s the number one attraction. An intelligent mind is like an aphrodisiac,” sabi niya.

Pahiwatig niya pa tungkol sa girl na ito, “Maybe lumabas na [sa Instagram] hindi [niyo] lang masyadong chine-check ‘yong posts ko.”

Paano ba sila nagkakilala?

“It’s funny nga eh. I met her through cyberspace. I knew nothing about her. We just started
talking through an introduction of a friend which just happened to tag me sa isa sa mga posts niya. At from there, I guess we wanted to get to know each other,” kwento niya.

Inamin ni Rafael na may trauma siya sa past relationships niya kaya “it was a difficult stage minsan, dahil siyempre, may trauma pa rin from past relationships na baka she’s just like all the other girls or baka I’m like all the other guys that she’s dated so siyempre parang may konting takot din.”

Kaya naman nais ni Rafael to take it slow but surely in relationship “dahil siyempre nothing is for sure.”
