Sarah Lahbati patches things up with GMA

Last January 2013, actress Sarah Lahbati became a hot topic in showbiz because of her series of tweets implicating GMA Films President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar. They filed cases against each other.
Now the libel, unjust vexation and grave coercion charges filed by Sarah against Atty. Gozon-Abrogar have been dismissed. Both parties have settled their issues amicably not only in court, but also personally.
According to Atty. Abrogar, it was Sarah’s lawyer, Atty. Marie Glen Abraham, who reached out to her.
She said, “Tinanong ni Atty. Marie kung willing ba daw kami [na] mag-usap [ni Sarah] na kami lang, without anyone; so noong nag-usap kami, wala pang ten minutes, okay na kami!”
“Siyempre, noong nagkita kami, parang nabalik lang kami sa dati. Nag-uusap naman kami before, so walang nagbago naman except nagkaroon lang ng misunderstanding ,” she added.
Sarah admitted that she and Atty. Abrogar were on the same page. Through their meeting, they were able to talk things out and clarify everything.
The StarStruck alumna said, “Both of us, ‘yung intention lang talaga namin na maayos na, matapos na, parehas kaming ganoon. I just wished nakapag-usap kami earlier.”
What has Sarah learned from this ordeal?
She answered, “I realized that better na if you talk to the person na may problem ka with, nang maaga para mas ma-solve ng maaga din ‘yung problem.”
Atty. Abrogar added, “Sabi ko nga sa kanya, even if she’s very young, ‘yung napagdaanan niya na iyan, ang laking plus sa buhay niya kasi she has learned a lot and madadala niya ‘yan, so instead of looking everything with regret, puwede ring tignan siya as a blessing, ‘di ba? She’s a better person now.”
Sarah agreed and said, “Tama ‘yung sinabi ni Ms. Annette. I became more mature. Ang dami kong natutunan and it’s not the end of the world. I’m still very young.”
Needless to say, Sarah will be going back to showbiz. How does she feel about this?
“I’m very, very grateful to GMA na may second chance ako, that I’m working again. Dito po ako lumaki kumbaga. Dito po ako nag-umpisa. Grateful ako dahil doon at grateful ako ngayon because I’m going to work again and may mga plano na for me,” she replied.
Who does she want to work with in her upcoming projects?
Sarah answered, “I’m just excited to work again with my friends, with my co-actors, with ‘yung mga nakatrabaho ko before, [and] with the new actors, para iba din ang connection.”
