Suga and Jimin of BTS had a one-on-one interview in the drinking show Suchwita, where Suga is a host.
Among the topics they talked about are their highly-anticipated comeback in 2025 and their eldest member Jin, who is currently serving mandatory military service.
Jimin also promoted his first solo album Face which just came out on March 24. Suga didn't hold back and teased Jimin for showing so much skin and going shirtless in his "Set Me Free Pt. 2" music video.
"Why are you showing so much skin these days? You've been showing your skin a lot as you get older" Suga asked Jimin.
Jimin defended himself and said, "I take off my shirt just once in the music video."
Suga added, "You go shirtless in the music video?
Jimin answered briefly, "Yes."
Suga then praised Jimin for his abs in the "No More Dream" music video and revealed Jimin hasn't been working out lately.
Suga teased, "Your body isn't that good, is it?"
Jimin shyly admitted, "I'm just skinny."
While the members each go through their mandatory military service, they are expected to fully reunite as a group in 2025. Suga asked Jimin where he wants to go, and he quickly said he wants to be in the future.
Jimin said, "Where could I even go? I would like to go to 2025. By then, we'll all be together. I wonder what we'll be like too?"
Suga agreed and shared, "We all have an idea of what things will be like when we come back. What do you think it'll be like in 2025? We'd be all back together when we're done. Honestly, I have no idea what we'll talk about or where we'll even begin. I'm curious about that so that's why I want to go to that time."
He added, "I'm really excited about 2025, because by then, we'd all have released singles or albums. So, if we could create an album where we could talk about ourselves more all together...
Jimin interjected, "It'll be fun."
They daydreamed about what their future album would be like, Suga would write the beats and Jimin would write the melody.
Then Jimin said, "Like what you said, solo activities don't mean much, it's only meaningful when we're together.
Suga agreed, "Yeah, the team comes first."
They then talked about their eldest member Jin, who is currently in military service. "A while ago, you visited Jin, I couldn't go because of a prior engagement. How is he?" Suga asked.
A photo of Jimin with Jin and J-Hope flashed on screen with Jin looking healthy in his military uniform and a shaved head. All three members were smiling happily for the camera.
Suga talked about Jin, "He's 66kg now. Isn't that the most he's weighed in his entire life?"
Jimin reported how their visit went, "Yeah, he never went over 63kg before. We even ate together. He's getting healthier. I had jjajjangmyeon, he said he was craving for mulhwe."
He later on mentioned how Jin is coping with being away from BTS while in the military, "He misses us so much."
Jimin wrapped up the interview by revealing that he wants BTS to stay together for a very long time. "My only dream is to make this team last a long time. Until I can barely move. Personally, even when we're old. I think it'd be nice if the seven of us were sitting around, and our fans sitting too, just talking
and singing."
Suga said with a laugh, "Wouldn't we be over 80 then?"
Jimin joked, "You still have to rap."
Suga subtly revealed how he pictures himself at old age, "At 80? What would my grandkids think of me?" the rapper said candidly.
All of the seven members of BTS briefly reunited recently during Jin's short vacation. Suga posted an Instagram story of their get together, with Jungkook, Jin, RM, and J-hope. He mentioned that V and Jimin were also with them, but left a little earlier.
