Kris Aquino, Mark Leviste rumored to be back together
Kris Aquino and Batangas Vice-Governor Mark Leviste are reunited in the U.S. after taking some time to pause their communication.
On Wednesday, Kris posted a video of Kim Chiu visiting her in the U.S. and implied that it was Mark filming the reunion, referring to him as the "videographer" and the one who helped Kim visit Kris.
She captioned her video with a message for Kim, Mark, and her son, Bimby Aquino-Yap as well as her fans, and a life update.
Kris addressed her "panganay" Kim--who is one of her close acquaintances in showbiz. "All I can say is I love you, I super appreciate your effort to visit, and even if it was a gloomy day, you were the much needed reminder that after all the storms, we can look forward to a RAINBOW…I've missed you, as in SUPER. 50% less yung sakit nung biological injectable ko at 1 p.m. after seeing you, please visit again & often? 'Di ba may bedroom ka na? Thank you for until now (16 years & counting) genuinely caring for & trusting me; super sad your ka-birthday because he arrived 10 mins after you left."

As for Mark, it seems like Kris has reconnected with him but did not give any details if they're just friends or in a romantic relationship again. "We've both learned from our mistakes…with God's help sana tuloy tuloy na yung harmonious and supportive relationship namin. Thank you bimb for helping us realize all the things we needed to repair in order to strengthen our commitment."
Kris also thanked everyone who has been praying for her recovery, "Thank you to all of you who are praying for me, slowly gumaganda my numbers. That's because of the power of our collective prayers. God's rewarding our #faith. Roughly 15 more months of treatment, but I'm alive and hopeful; tuloy ang LABAN, bawal sumuko. #grateful"
In January 2023, rumors of a possible romance between Kris and Mark. Mark previously said on interviews and social media that he visited Kris and her sons in the U.S. on New Year's Day of 2023. He also spent time with Kris on her birthday, which coincides with Valentine's Day.
Though Mark has been her "best male friend" after being teased with dating rumors, Kris finally admitted they had a relationship, but she broke it off due to her health conditions, including several autoimmune disorders.
In July 2023, Kris admitted her relationship with Mark, but also mentioned they had broken up.
She also asked Mark to refrain from keeping contact in September 2023 as she focuses on her health recovery.
