Singer and actor Ice Seguerra and his wife, Liza Diño, chose a more permanent solution after the former lost his wedding band by inking the rings on their fingers. They got the mathcing tattoos after they celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post, Ice showed a video of Liza, wincing in pain as she got inked on her finger. In the caption, the singer-songwriter shared that he lost his wedding ring last year after a beach trip.
“Pag-akyat ko ng bangka, ayun, nadulas siya (ring) at tuluyan nang namaalam. Sinubukan kong sisirin kaso nasa blue pa kami, medyo palubog na rin 'yung araw at wala akong torch,” Ice shared.
He then expressed how hurt he felt for losing the ring since he never once removed it. He also got worried about what Liza might say when he breaks the news to her.
“Nasa ibang bansa siya noon kaya di kami magkasama. I knew she'd feel bad. Asar talo pa ako sa mga kaibigan ko,” he said.
However, when he finally broke the news, Liza did not get mad at him which only made Ice appreciate her more. According to the singer, this pushed him to have a permanent ring so it wouldn't slip from his finger.
According to Ice, they could not celebrate their anniversary properly, so they decided to have their wedding rings inked on them for a belated celebration.

Ice revealed that while he has a lot of tattoos, Liza is the complete opposite as she only has one.
“'Yun ay dahil napagod siyang umakyat ng ilang bundok para mag-interview kay Apo Whang-od, and it was Apo's 100th birthday! Pero after nun, kahit ilang pilit ko, ayaw na niya,” he explained.
“But she said yes to me this time around. And I am the happiest!!!” he continued.
He thanked Liza for indulging him, saying it was the best gift he ever received.
“I love you so much!!! I appreciate and adore you so much more!” he ended his post.
