Following Andi Eigenmann's series of cryptic messages, fiancé and surfer Philmar Alipayo also took to social media to address rumors of breaking up with the influencer.

In a series of Instagram stories, Philmar wrote his statement in his native language.

"Whatever you read is true. No more hiding (lies) because it only makes things harder," he wrote. "You already know who I am, so maybe you already know who she is. No need to elaborate further."

In the end, Philmar acknowledged all criticisms from netizens. ""You all can call me a cheater and ugly now. But thank you to the people who truly know me."

Meanwhile, Andi also posted once again on her Instagram to clarify things about the issue.

Reposting the screenshot, the influencer shared how she was surprised to see netizens' speculations about Philmar cheating. She also explained, "I realised my post may have been vague so will just put my first question to chatgpt here, for clarification."

In another Instagram story, Andi clarified that a friend was behind her cryptic messages. She explained that while she had noticed some red flags with the friend, she respected their long relationship with Philmar. However, she eventually realized that it's not toxic to set boundaries in a relationship.

Recently, the influencer sparked speculations on breaking up with Philmar as she posted a "Year of the Snake" wallpaper with the text,"I just found out it's the year of the snake!! I thought it was the year of the wolf in sheep's clothing!"

Andi also shared a screenshot of her messages seeking opinions online about a friend wanting to have a couple tattoo with someone taken.

Netizens quickly made the connection when Philmar was seen showing off a new tattoo in his latest Instagram reel.

Andi and Philmar, who have been engaged since 2020, live together with their family on the beautiful island of Siargao.

Last year, Philmar was involved in a viral video showing him spending time with another woman. At the time, Andi addressed the situation, saying that Philmar "can go out with his friends, go drinking every once in a while, and chat with whoever he wants. No harm in that."

Philmar also spoke up about the video during an appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda in June 2024. He explained that people often approach him for casual conversations. While he engages in these chats, the professional surfer emphasizes that he's always mindful of his boundaries and avoids situations where he could give the wrong impression.
