Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey's new year is off to a good start as the couple spends some time in the paradise islands of Maldives.
Pia flew to the United Kingdom in July 2020 to visit her family despite the strict guidelines against the growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. After her 14-day quarantine, the Miss Universe 2015 queen was reunited with her beau. They even had their first date since the start of the lockdown in London's Borough Market. Her stay in the UK also became Jeremy's opportunity to finally meet her mom who was residing in Essex.
Since then, Pia and Jeremy have been making up for their time spent apart. The couple celebrated each other's birthday together, with Pia collating photos of their travels and Jeremy composing a heartfelt dedication for his girlfriend. The hot pair also got to be warm and cozy, spending the Christmas holidays together and marking their first anniversary before the year-end.
To top off all these relationship milestones, Jeremy planned a surprise and gifted the beauty queen a trip to Maldives.
Pia and Jeremy flew out a day after Christmas, following the health and safety protocols against COVID-19. They had their PCR tests done, accomplished their work travel letters and health declaration forms, and updated themselves about the local guidelines of their destination.
The couple undeniably display that they are not only #relationshipgoals and #travelgoals but that they are also aspirational citizens in the new normal.
