After her Irish boyfriend David Rainey proposed to her in December 2020 in Ireland, Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro had to go back to the Philippines to finish the taping for her GMA drama series 'Nagbabagang Luha' which currently airs on GMA's afternoon block.
Despite their distance and cultural differences, David made sure to keep their love alive by surprising Glaiza with simple yet romantic gestures that she really appreciates.
“Never siyang nag-fail na ipadama sa'kin na how sincere he is so do'n nagsimula 'yung mga pa-letter. I mean pwede mo naman i-text, 'di ba, bakit ka pa susulat na ipadala 'yun sa post, magpadala ng kung anu-ano. Hindi sa sinasabi kong do'n ako parang na-fall, pero parang na-appreciate ko 'yung gesture na kahit malayo siya, he really tried to make an effort," Glaiza told GMANetwork.com for the portal's cover story called Kapuso Profiles.
After several months of being away from each other, she and David have reunited again, and this time in Spain to take their much-needed vacation.
As seen on the Instagram account of the 'Nagbabagang Luha's' lead star, Glaiza and her foreigner fiancé enjoyed strolling the streets of Madrid known for its historical buildings and expansive, manicured parks.
