Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo ang Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado are finally engaged!
The Kapuso couple shared the news in an exclusive interview on '24 Oras' yesterday, October 29.
The two also confirmed Jennylyn's pregnancy, putting end to speculations about the medical emergency that led to the actress being carted out via ambulance from the of the lock-in taping of her upcoming show 'Love.Die.Repeat.'
"9th week. Ang timing niya ay nasa taping ako ng 'Love. Die. Repeat.' Ito ay nangayari two months ago. Doon ko na feel na parang medyo iba ko eh. Medyo emosyonal ako, iba 'yung pakiramdam ko," Jennyly shared.
Aside from these, Dennis and Jennylyn also shared how the proposal happened through a vlog released on the actress' YouTube channel.
"Gusto kong i-share sa inyo ang isa sa pinakamahalagan araw sa buhay namin ni Jen. At hindi niya alam na ito na pala 'yun," Dennis said in the beginning of the vlog.
He then showed how he prepared the surprise proposal which happened in their home.
Dennis began planning the proposal as early as four days before he intended to ask Jennylyn to marry him.
He also enlisted the help of celebrity event stylist Giden Hermosa to decorate Jennylyn's exercise room.
"Salamat talaga at dumating ka ulit sa buhay ko. Hindi ko alam kung makakahanap pa ako ng pagmamahal na katulad ng binigay mo sa akin kasi talagang sagad eh at ramdam na ramdam ko 'yun. Ikaw lang ang gusto kong makasama, ikaw at 'yung bagong additon sa family natin. Isa 'yun sa mga pangarap ko. Matutupad lang 'yung mga pangarap na 'yun kung papayag kang pakasalan ako," Dennis said before getting down on one knee and presenting Jennylyn with a ring.
