Five days into their marriage, Maine Mendoza finally shared official photos from her Benguet wedding with Arjo Atayde.
Photographer Pearl Studio captured the newlyweds being genuinely in love. In one shot, the stormy fog in the highlands adds drama to the picture as the bride and groom kiss.
In the caption, Maine simply wrote "28 July", their wedding day which is a symbolic date for the couple. It was the day when she tweeted "Arjo cutie" back in 2013 before their first meeting that happened five years later. The same day in 2022, Arjo proposed to Maine. Arjo confirmed their relationship in 2019 after they were spotted together many times in public.
This is the first time that the TV host/actress released official photos from the wedding as she and Arjo reportedly requested their wedding guests and suppliers to refrain from posting photos during the wedding day itself and geotagging to value each others' privacy and to just be present in the moment.
Guests fulfilled the wish of the couple as they uploaded photos on social media a day after the wedding.
