Maxine Medina shares the reason why she and fiance Timmy Llana decided to have 2 weddings

Former Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina will walk down the aisle to marry non-showbiz fiancé Timmy Llana in October.
The couple got engaged in April 2022, while on vacation in Palawan.
They shared during their exclusive interview with 24 Oras that they will be having two ceremonies, a church wedding in the first week of October, then a beach wedding a week after.
Maxine told 24 Oras that they opted to have two ceremonies to respect the wishes of their parents. The actress explained, “Kasi 'yung beach talaga is our dream wedding, but, as [a sign of] respect to our parents they wanted it sa church.”
In addition, future Mr. and Mrs. Llana also discussed what type of wedding ring they wanted. According to Maxine, she and Timmy really put a lot of time before making a final decision.
“Nag-take time talaga kami to choose the perfect ring for both of us. Wear simple, but super elegant.”
“'Yung eternity rings is like forever,” Maxine continued. “So, every time I look at my ring in the future it's gonna be so memorable for us na maiisip namin 'yung wedding namin na sobrang ganda. Na dumaan kami sa process of like decision making.”
The former beauty queen was also grateful for the immense success of their afternoon series Magandang Dilag starring Herlene Budol.
Maxine, portrays the kontrabila role of Blaire.
She added that it was incredible that they were able to meet the expectations of the viewers of Magandang Dilag.
“We' re so blessed na until now mataas ang rating ng 'Magandang Dilag.'"
