Two days after she announced that she's engaged, Miss Universe 2010 fourth-runner up Venus Raj tied the knot with her non-showbiz fiancé, North Orillan, on Tuesday, December 12 in a Christian wedding in CCF Center in Pasig.
Wedding photographer Pat Dy shared the first official photo of the two as a married couple on Instagram. In the portrait, Venus and North look in love as they face each other while hugging.
"Amazing things happen to those who wait. God bless you North and Venus! (coolest couple names ever!)," Pat wrote.
The Filipino-Indian beauty queen looked lovely in her strapless ball gown wedding dress designed by Francis Libiran while her groom was a gentleman in his gray suit with bow tie combination, as seen in a separate post by Pat.
Team Pat Dy's Chissai Bautista and Nelwin Uy also shared their respective snaps from Venus and North's wedding.
Before sharing the news about her engagement, Venus has been private about her love life.
In her post, she revealed that she was single for eight years before officially dating North.
