Katrina Halili reveals her relationship status

Katrina Halili is still undeniably one of the sexiest Kapuso actresses today. One of the things that add to her appeal is her confidence in being an empowered single mom.

After nearly 7 years of being single, Katrina admits she's slowly opening herself up again to dating or meeting new people.

During her Prima Donnas media conference, she told the press, “Mag-seven years na [akong single]. Simula nung mabuntis ako. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit. Siguro nagiging mature ka na, at nagiging happy ka sa sarili mo. Work lang.”

When asked about her current dating life, Katrina answered,

“Kasi inisip ko, parang ang tagal na so naging open na ako kapag may nagyaya sa akin ng date, sige okay na ako.”

She added that she wants to take things slow and avoid expectations, “Pero happy ako na mag-work lang. Gusto ko parang friends muna.

“May kasama akong [friends] talaga [sa date]. Ayoko ng nag-sosolo para walang expectations. Paano kung hindi ko gusto, paano ako makakatakas? Ang arte ko 'di ba?”

She elaborated, “Kunwari mag-date tayo tapos mamaya isipin mo gusto na kita, eh paano kung hindi pa pala? Hindi pa rin ako ready so ayokong mag-expect ka.”

Katrina also admitted that some of her dates lead to a second date, she's content with being single.

“May naulit, pero siyempre gusto natin 'yung magiging partner na natin, naghahanap tayo ng seryosong magiging partner. May umulit pero happy pa rin ako na single.”

She then narrated what she wants to establish in her future relationship.

“Sa relationship naman daw ang importante 'yung friends kayo, 'yun 'yung foundation. Hindi 'yung harutan lang kayo ng harutan…Dapat kasundo ko.”

Katrina also shared that her daughter Katie isn't looking for a father figure because she lets her daughter meet her biological dad, Kris Lawrence, frequently.

"Hindi ko naman ipinagkakait, nagkikita sila ni Kris."
