READ: Carla Abellana calls Tom Rodriguez the love of her life

Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez reunite for a project in their newest soap titled Love Of My Life.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork, Carla shared that for the two of them, this show is an answered prayer.

According to Carla, "Happy ako that I'm working with Tom again because lagi namin 'yang pinagdadasal. Lagi naming sinasabi na sana magka-work kami ulit. I'm very grateful na pumayag siya to do the role with Stefano."

When asked about who the real love of her life is, Carla had no qualms about naming her long-time partner, Tom, as the one.

"Kahit 'di ko na pag-isipan, Tom definitely is the love of my life. Matagal ko nang alam 'yan and sigurado ako diyan. It may sound cheesy but it's the truth. Siya talaga 'yung love of my life," she said.

For Carla, her latest show also served as a reunion project with a lot of other stars she's worked with before such as Rhian Ramos, Mikael Daez, Vaness Del Moral, and Maey Bautista.

She also got the chance to work with Coney Reyes for the first time which proved to be quite an experience for her.

"I was intimidated at first. We all know she's a veteran actress, napakahusay. She's had many years of experience already in the industry so medyo kinabahan ako. Akala ko strict siya.

"Ano pala siya, very down to earth. Siya 'yung type na puwede kang makipagbiruan with. In fact, may times na siya pa 'yung nag-iinitiate ng light moments or ng mga jokes so magaan lang siya katrabaho."
