LOOK: Mikael Daez recounts his 'firsts' with bride Megan Young
A couple of weeks after their much-talked-about wedding, Mikael Daez and Megan Young couldn't help but reminisce about the wonderful day they finally became “Mr. and Mrs.”
In an Instagram post made earlier today (February 6) , the newly minted “Mr. Daez-Young” shared a series of photos from their wedding that surely tickled so many hearts in the process.
He started off with, “Our photos from the wedding are slowly trickling in and as Bonez [Megan] and I go through them from time to time, I noticed a couple of cute stories and 'firsts'.”
In the first photo, Daez is seen holding Megan's hand as she drives their “trusty, red hatchback” in Subic.
“[The] first photo aka 'The First Drive' -- Over the years, my love for cars and driving has somewhat rubbed off on Bonez. She made me the happiest groom when she definitively claimed that she would drive for me instead of the other way around.
“We also used our trusty, red hatchback that we would always take on our Sunday morning drives to Subic.”

Second, a photo of Mikael and Megan sharing an ice cream cone is seen in the gallery to which Mikael dubs as “The First Bite.”
He writes, “We had been to many weddings before and used this experience to our advantage.
“Before leaving for our reception, we grabbed a dirty ice cream cone (cheese only!). We refused to get hungry before dinner so [we] snuck in this snack to make sure we stayed happy and flappy :P”
Lastly was their iconic coffee toast with their friends as they partied the night away. As professed coffee lovers, both Mikael and Megan chose coffee as their “drink of choice.”
“It made sense that our toast would use a coffee float made by some of our friends that was inspired from a coffee trip we took to Japan! We had a coffee float!
“An earthy and chilled brew of coffee with a layer of thick milk gently floating on top of it. Super yummy!”
The post definitely brought the kilig factor as some fans commended their love story as something they'd want to aspire to.
