What did Joyce Pring and Juancho Trivino realize about married life?

By Aaron Brennt Eusebio

Unang Hirit hosts and newlywed couple Joyce Pring and Juancho Trivino revealed what they have realized about married life.

In Joyce's latest podcast uploaded on her YouTube channel, they discussed their adjustments and what's happening inside their home.

“Siyempre pag-boyfriend-girlfriend [kayo], ibang usapan 'yun. But then, when we got married and we started living in the same room, a lot of problems arose,” Juancho shared.

“Wala naman doon 'yun noong una 'di ba?

“Because we are two people, we are set in our ways already, and then we are living in one roof.

“So that's a huge adjustment that we both had to make for each other.”

For Joyce, having similarities is not equal to being compatible.

She explained, “For me also, it was really like just not agreeing on a lot of things. Parang we had so many differences.”

“There were so many differences that we had to, kind of, adjust to. But I realized the thing that we keep saying to each other, 'Commonality is not compatibility.'

“Sometimes even though you guys don't have things in common, that doesn't mean that you're not compatible.

“'Cause relationships will never be perfect. You will never find the perfect person to be in a relationship with.

“But the person you are within that relationship now will be the right person if you choose for that person to be the right one.”

Joyce and Juancho also gave their two-cents about showing the real you in a relationship.

Juancho and Joyce got married on February 9 in a Christian ceremony held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel in Pasay City.
