Marian Rivera takes Dingdong Dantes on a Spanish-themed date

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes had a good reason to get dressed amid the COVID-19 quarantine as they took on a Spanish-themed date at home.

The Kapuso Primetime Queen took a quick break from her daily household chores to prepare food for their romantic merienda date.

The date menu was comprised of Plato De Queso (cheese platter), Pulpo a la Gallega (octopus' tentacles in paprika and olive oil), Chorizo and Manchego Croquetas (chorizo and cheese croquettes), Gambas al Aljillo (Spanish garlic shrimp), and cupcake for dessert.

"Day off muna si nanay! Date muna with Mi Amor, quality time kahit nasa bahay lang. Made a simple yet special invitation para sa Spanish themed date namin with food cooked by yours truly! Naks tamis tamisan...," Marian said in her Instagram post, accompanied by photos from their intimate date at home.

For his part, Dingdong thanked his wife for preparing the delicious meals.

"Pause muna sa mga pinagkakaabalahan para makakuha ng good vibes mula sa mainam na paandar ni Misis. Gràcias! @marianrivera," the Descendants of the Sun lead actor said.
