Couple wears face masks to push through with church wedding

Wedding photography and videography company Nice Print Photo gives us a peek at how weddings are done in this “new normal” through the stories of their clients pushing through with their ceremony amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Nice Print Photo first shared a video from Bryan and Myra's intimate wedding. They are among their first clients since the start of the enhanced community quarantine.

The post read, “The past few months dampened our spirits and crushed our souls. As fear and uncertainty blanketed our couples, we felt the tremor and the heartache that plagued them. The pandemic doesn't only infect the body; it cripples the hearts; it paralyzes dreams.

"But amid the darkness, love perseveres to glow. Little by little, it opens a hole where light gets in. And that enduring love gives birth to hope, hope brings forth courage, and courage leads to victory. The battle is far from over. But let love win. Because when the dust settles, it will be all that matter.

“Thank you, Bryan and Myra, for being beacons of hope to us. Indeed, love is worth celebrating. Our first intimate wedding after 75 days of lockdown. With just 11 people inside the Manila Cathedral, this is their wedding story.”

Meanwhile, Nice Print Photo had another couple, Cham and Erin, who chose to wear face masks during their wedding.

The company shared their story, saying, “Another intimate wedding during the GCQ period. Cham and Erin's intimate wedding. Though different and not as planned, still special and memorable. Cham and Erin will still hold their big wedding with family and friends at a later date.”

The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has issued new guidelines for weddings as we continue to face the threat of the new coronavirus disease.
