Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos share secret on how they make the relationship work

Celebrity couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos went live on YouTube to bond and connect with their fans. During their livestream, Gabbi and Khalil also asked questions from fans who want to know more about them and their relationship.

One of the questions the couple received was "What advice can you give sa mga couples in terms of growing individually without affecting the girlfriend or boyfriend's time?"

According to Khalil, "Definitely it was something that we needed to work on. It's something that we wanted. 'Yun talaga parang the moment we committed to each other, ang unang-una naming sinabi sa isa't isa, we have to learn from our past relationships. Let's not make the same mistakes because I wanna invest and I wanna make this to count. Kumbaga that's the goal naman 'eh if you want to get a relationship, it has to count and it's not just a fling or a one-time thing."

"'Yung mindset heading towards the relationship, we of course wanted to still chase our dreams, personally, individually. We can't hinder ourselves from personal growth. So going back to the question, 'yung question is 'How do we do that?'

"I think it's one; time management, and it's acknowledging there's a level of maturity that you have to attain for you to accept that you have to balance out everything.

"You have to weigh your priorities, hindi pwedeng dahil sobrang in-love kayo ay talagang 'yun lang 'yung gagawin n'yo. I've been there and it feels good sa start you know but when 'pag naging busy na 'yung isa, 'eh wala iyon na 'yung na-establish n'yo, it gets toxic.

"When we committed to each other for the first few months and years, sabi ko 'We have to be smart about this if we really want it to last.' Because ako, I personally value her so much and she values me so much. Hindi natin pwedeng basta-bastahin lang 'to, sayangin lang.

"It's really balancing it out and really allowing your partner to fly. 'Wag mo siyang hilahin pababa o 'wag mo siya masyadong i-restrict."
