Alfred Vargas marks 10th civil wedding anniversary with wife Yasmine Espiritu

Actor and politician Alfred Vargas took to Instagram to greet his wife, Yasmine Espiritu-Vargas, on their 10th civil wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 16.

The Kambal, Karibal starposted a portrait of them and shared what transpired during their simple celebration at home.

Alfred said, "Ten wonderful and meaningful years with my amore @yasmine_vargas2307 and I wouldn't have it any other way.

"Today, she asked me to cook for the first time ever to celebrate our anniv.

"I said yes (eat at their own risk). That's how much I love her."

He then wrote, "Thank you, Lord Jesus, for being with us every step of the way. Thank you for always protecting, guiding, and blessing my family. #VargasNaPagibig #alexandramilanvargas #aryanacassandravargas #alfredocristianovargasiv #civilweddinganniversary"

For her part, Yasmine launched promotional giveaways on her Instagram account to commemorate their one decade of togetherness as wife and husband.

In a separate post, Yasmine shared their beautiful family portrait with their kids Alexandra Milan, Aryana Cassandra, and Alfredo Cristiano.

"One decade down, forever to go.

"Happy Anniversary Amore @alfredvargasofficial I love you so much," Yasmine wrote in the caption, adding #vargasnapagibig.

Seven years after their civil wedding, Alfred and Yasmine renewed their vows at the Manila Cathedral on July 23, 2017.

It was attended by celebrities and politicians led by Vice President Leni Robredo, Mar Roxas, GMA's Senior VP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, Kris Aquino, Herbert Bautista, Joy Belmonte, Lolit Solis and Dingdong Dantes, among others.
