Golden Cañedo cherishes long-distance relationship with non-showbiz BF

The Clash Season 1 grand champion Golden Cañedo has officially introduced her non-showbiz boyfriend Martin Raval to the public on the day of their first anniversary on August 14.

Golden and Martin have been maintaining a long-distance relationship since the singer's boyfriend is currently based in the America.

Despite the distance, they still got the chance to make their anniversary special.

In an exclusive interview with Unang Hirit, the 18-year-old singer shared that they both enjoyed the special day even they're miles apart.

“Hindi naman po bago sa amin na magkalayo kami. In a year, magkikita lang kami ng tatlong beses.

“Nu'ng time na 'yon hindi naman po niya ako binago. Sobrang effort po niya talaga kasi first year anniversary po namin 'yon,” she said.

Meanwhile, Golden is among the performers who continuously adapt to the showbiz' new normal.

“Nu'ng una talaga sobrang nahihirapan ako kung paano mag-style sa sarili mo, mag-make up sa sarili mo.

“Bumili po ako ng pang-record ko po para sa sarili ko. Naka-discover din po ako ng mga bagay na hindi ko pa nagagawa before talaga like sa guitar, marunong na ako sa iba't ibang songs,” she added.

Meanwhile, the singer recently released a new single "Walang Hanggang Sandali" and it was digitally launched worldwide last August 24. It was written by Ebe Dencel, Jim Paredes, Yumi Lacsamana and Herbert Hernandez.

“Love song po itong kantang 'to and it's about chance encounter po, unexpected happening po sa life,” she said.
