Bettinna Carlos calls relationship with beau a blessing

If there's one thing Bettinna Carlos has learned from her new man, Mikki Eduardo, it's that love conquers all things --- no matter the circumstance.

In her latest Instagram post, the actress recalled the time they realized their differences with regards to theology.

She said, “Pareho tayong biglang naoffend, we felt we were both being attacked! So much so that I had to walk out (kasi nasa lobby tayo!)

“Literally, kinailangan ko maglakad palabas ng building just to clear my head. And after one round around the compound...we finally sat down, recognized each other's feelings, apologized for how we hurt the other in how we reacted, and forgave each other.”

Bettinna confessed that the incident made her realize that Mikki was the man “I really prayed for.”

“You patiently listened. Not to answer back or to defend yourself but to understand me, my hurts, and where I was coming from,” she explained.

“Also, you acknowledged my emotions. Hindi mo dinisregard ang feelings ko na bakit ang sensitive mo, bakit ang OA mo, etc. You listened and respected how I felt and you did not judge me for it.”

Furthermore, the actress said that she's also learning to be more understanding of people's feelings.

“Kasi lahat tayo may sugat. May galos. Iba iba tayo ng pinanggalingan, pinagdaanan, pananaw by which we perceive and receive things.

“I really appreciate how you take time and thought to consider the context and circumstances of every person. You give consideration to others so you can respond to their needs better.

“I thank God for you, Love. That you are who you are ---and I know it's only because of Him in you.”

It was on August 3 Bettinna first introduced Mikki Eduardo to the public. At the time, she only hinted at getting back to the dating scene.

A few days later, she revealed his identity and confirmed their relationship status.
