Former 'Contessa' star Karel Marquez tied the knot with her non-showbiz husband Sean Fariñas in December 2016.
TV actress-turned-mom Karel Marquez penned a heartfelt message on Instagram to mark the birthday of her “partner in life” Sean Fariñas.
On her post last Sunday, September 6, the former Contessa star made a promise to Sean to support him no matter what.
Karel declared, “Even if I already gave your gifts and greeted you first, you deserve to be celebrated on my feed too! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, love.
“I wanted to wish you the very best, but you already have me... So no need. CHAROT. You still have sooo many wishes and dreams TO DO and I'm going to be here to support you all the way!
“Through the ups and downs, trials and errors... I'll be here!”
She added that her love for him didn't change and she still feels “kilig” everyday.
“Whatever I do right now also is for you and for our kids. You're my soul mate, companion, comforter and true friend, and even until this very day, it's like the first day we fell in love and everyday I feel the butterflies and kilig.

Karel and Sean tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in December 2016. Sean also served as a father figure to Karel's two children, Keiley and Kyler, from her past relationship.
On June 19, 2019, the couple welcomed their first child together and named him Kobe Federico Santos Fariñas.
