Actor Matteo Guidicelli got candid with host Toni Gonzaga about his supposed wedding plans with wife Sarah Geronimo in the latter's latest vlog.
In the video, Matteo said another wedding was already in place, but the nuptials didn't push through due to the COVID-19 scare.
“A week before the lockdown, February 20, 2020, we got married--a very small wedding.
“A week after, it was supposed to be our wedding with our friends. But lockdown happened. Everything was planned, Toni,” he said.
Matteo also mentioned that he always dreamed of a military-type wedding for himself and Sarah, but his wife wanted a more private ceremony.
He expounded, “My dream was to have a wedding-wedding, especially a military wedding--it was my dream with all of my relatives, friends, and everyone that was with me since day one.
“Her naman, [she wants something] very, very private. She wanted a private, solemn [ceremony] with just family and loved ones there.”
He also shared how married life has been since tying the knot back in February.
“Your partner, your soul mate, whatever you do is for her. Your future is for her,” Matteo shared.
“When you wake up in the morning, you realize this is the woman I'm going to live with forever.
"Married life is so beautiful because you realize this is the person you're going to spend with the rest of your life. Not just that, but all your dreams and all your goals, you'll do it with this person.”

Matteo and Sarah tied the knot in a secret wedding last February in Taguig.
Their nuptials were stirred with controversy as Sarah's mom, Divine, reportedly crashed her daughter's wedding.
Despite this, Matteo said it was the “best day of his life.”
