TV and movie actress Lotlot de Leon couldn't help but be extra romantic yesterday, December 17, as she and husband Fadi El Soury mark their 2nd wedding anniversary.
On Instagram, the 49-year-old actress penned a heartwarming letter to her Lebanese partner to show how much she appreciated his companionship all these years.
“You are my confidant, my sounding board, my motivator, my best friend, my husband,” she began.
“You believe in me more than I believe in myself at times, you remind me that I should never forget my self-worth at times.
“Mahal, thank you. For truly loving me, for holding my hand when times get rough, for never getting tired of cheering me on, and for never letting go of me.”
She continued, “Here's to many, many, many years of good health, happiness, love, and all the good things in between. I am looking forward and faithfully awaiting God's many sweet surprises and blessings that will come our way.
“Through thick and thin, I know that our love for one another will always prevail. I love you! Happy 2nd!”
Lotlot de Leon married Lebanese businessman Fadi El Soury in a private garden ceremony on December 17, 2018, at El Jardin de Zaida in San Juan, Batangas.
The wedding was attended by Lotlot and Fadi's closest family members and friends, along with the bride's four children from former husband Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, namely Janine, Diego, Jessica, and Max Gutierrez.
During her nuptials, the actress confessed feeling scared to fall in love again but that all changed since meeting Fadi.
She told in her wedding vow, “There have been so many things that have happened to my life before I met you, which I have learned from. I was scared to really fall in love again and to even allow someone to be part of my life. But you were persistent. You didn't want to let me be and I thank you for that.
“I have prayed so many times, over and over, and very hard for God to fix that I couldn't fix. But when I just lifted it all up, everything started falling into place, and then you came along.
“Thank you for not making me feel alone when I'm sad. Thank you for putting a smile on my face all the time, and making sure that I am okay. Thank you for being there. Thank you for choosing to be with me. I love you, Fadi.”
