Arjo Atayde shares how his relationship with Maine Mendoza changed him
TV-movie actor Arjo Atayde draws inspiration from his girlfriend, Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza.
The Kapamilya actor shared how his life changed because of love, during an interview on Enchong Dee' vlog, .
Maine and Arjo first met in the shooting of the 2018 Metro Manila Film festival movie Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles and in December 2020, they celebrated their second anniversary together.

Arjo told Enchong that he matured a lot spending time with Maine, "Number one maturity. The goals, I'm more goal oriented.”
Enchong even teased his friend Arjo about his transformation, which Arjo interjected, "I'm sorry but it's happening.
"I thought it was gonna take 10 years. Oh My God! I'm kidding.”
He added that having Maine Mendoza around inspired him to become a better person as well.
"Yeah, it happened all of a sudden, when you just really know what you want in life and you know who you want to be with, that person you love the most. You just know it."
"It's not something slowmo, but it's something so real that it straightens you up all the way, so yeah I think when you are in love, I guess you should be inspired. And be a better person from there-- not try to be, just be who you are. Just be good."
Daddy's Gurl guesting
Many are already anticipating the guesting of Arjo in the high-rating Kapuso sitcom, Daddy's Gurl.
The announcement was made in a 24 Oras report, wherein showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas got the chance to interview the real-life couple via Zoom conference.
Maine, who plays Stacy in Daddy's Gurl, recalled that Arjo was a bit nervous doing the episode.
“Nakakatawa kasi nag-uusap kami and sinsasabi niya sa akin na medyo kinakabahan siya, tapos sabi ko, 'ano ka ba kayang-kaya mo yan,' ganyan. Na-deliver naman… best actor [smiles].”
