To all the husbands out there listen! Check out the sweet appreciation post of theater actor Benj Manalo to his wife Lovely Abella.
Although busy with their business and respective showbiz careers, Bubble Gang comedienne Lovely Abella and theater actor Benj Manalo decided to take a break and enjoy the company of each other.
The showbiz couple has been together for seven years. In January this year, they decided to tie the knot.
Benj recently shared a recent travel escapade with Lovely and posted a heartfelt appreciation post for her on Instagram
“To my wife,
“I just want to let you know that I'm so proud of you, of us, simula nung mga panahong nangangarap tayo na bumuo ng sarili nating pamilya, makabili ng sarling bahay, magkaroon ng magandang career sa showbiz, magkaroon ng sariling negosyo, grabe lang. We've come along way since 2015.”
He even described Lovely as the best “partner in life” for always being there through thick and thin.
He noted, “Grabe 'yung trust natin sa isat-isa, sa tulungan natin, sa saluhan natin sa problema, tulungan mag angat kung meron down satin. Grabe. I'm just really blessed to have a partner in life, a loving wife, awesome best friend, amazing mom, smart business partner lahat lahat na.
“Salamat at dumating ka sa buhay ko. Napaka suwerte ko. Higit sa lahat, nagpapasalamat ako kasi mas pinapatibay natin ang faith natin kay Lord, hindi man alam ng madaming tao kung gaano kabuti ang puso mo na nahawa ako sa kabaitan mo, salamat. Totoo nga na mas na bless tayo kung pinapaubaya natin kay Lord ang lahat ng bagay at ginagawa natin un dahil gusto natin siya ma Glorify. Ma Praise! Siya lahat ng un. Hayyy.”
Benj added, “Mag [seven] years na tayo at mag [one] year na tayo kasal pero sobrang in love na in love pa rin ako sa'yo. Thanks for making me fall for you every second of my life mahal. BTW (by the way), fist trip natin to ng tayo lang dalawa at nakakakilig, after [six] years ngayon lang tayo nag give ng time para makapag relax tayo dalawa sa lahat ng hard work na ginagawa natin. Kaya these coming days, I want you to relax and enjoy your time with me okay? I love you Mrs. Manalo. @lovelyabella_ #BenLy #BenLyForever.”
Lovely replied to this sweet post and acknowledged that she's far from a perfect wife.
She replied, “I love you so much babe... Thank you at na-appreciate mo lahat ng 'yun, di man ako perfect na asawa pero trying to be a perfect partner sa'yo sa lahat ng bagay.
Oo nga hanggang ngayon kilig na kilig tayo walang pinagbago. Thank you Lord dahil ikaw ang kasama ko sa [lahat] ng pagsubok at kahit papipiliin ako IKAW pa din!! Lets enjoy babe.
Prior to tying the knot, Benj and Lovely already have kids from previous relationships. Lovely's daughter is Crisha while Benj's son is Nathan.
The couple held their intimate garden-themed wedding on January 23 at Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant in Quezon City.
