Joyce Pring flexes dinner night at home prepared by Juancho Trivino

Kapuso showbiz couple Joyce Pring and Juancho Trivino might be busy taking care of their newborn son, Alonso Eliam, but they also know that a little break from their duties as parents wouldn't hurt, too.

Yesterday, July 26, Joyce posted a simple dinner date organized by her husband to take their mind off from the rigors of being first-time parents to Alonso.

She happily shared, “Last night's surprise by @juanchotrivino.

“Every day I'm thankful that I married someone who is imperfect but always TRIES.

“Last night, when I was 'honoring' him (basically, 'honoring' is when you honor or tell someone why you appreciate them / commend them for what they're doing right) I told Juancho that I honor him for always trying.”

The Unang Hirit host then listed down some of Juancho's best qualities as a husband.

Joyce pointed out, “He's not always romantic, but he tries.

He's not always patient with me (or Eliam hehe) but he tries.

He doesn't always get things done the 'right' way, but he tries.”

She added, “I told him, all I can really pray for is that you always try to be better and honor God through our marriage, and love our family -- and despite our many compounded shortcomings as a couple, we both TRY; and for that I'm grateful.”

“Friends, we won't always be the best wife / sister / Christian / friend / person in our relationships and walks in life - but we must always try… and sometimes, that's more than enough. ️

“Thank you for always trying to surprise me and make me feel loved, @juanchotrivino. Life's so beautiful with you.”

Reading the heartwarming message of his wife, Juancho commented saying, “I love you! PS there really should be a finger heart emoji already!”

Joyce gave birth to Alonso Eliam on July 2 via normal delivery and she tied the knot with Juancho in February 2020.
