Claudine Barretto posts handwritten letter from Rico Yan

Claudine Barretto went down memory lane and showed a handwritten letter from ex-boyfriend Rico Yan.

"Double infinity RYCB & CLAUDINIANS THIS IS FOR ALL OF U," Claudine captioned the post.

The letter dated "09798" read, "Hunny, Just wanted you to know that you are the best thing that has happened in my life. You are my life! While I watch you sleep, I can't believe you're mine. Thank you for being my rock! And Hunny, 'You rock.' I love you very much."

Rico passed away in March 2002, weeks after turning 27 due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis. He was found unconscious in his hotel room by friend Dominic Ochoa in Dos Palmas Hotel.

Nearly 20 years after his passing, Claudine still cherishes his life and memories.

Earlier this year, Claudine had a dinner feast celebration at home for Rico's 46th birthday.

In a vlog uploaded by Claudine's friend Janelle Jamar, she detailed how her love for Rico has remained through the years.

Claudine stated, "Mahal ko pa rin siya. Hindi nawawala 'yon. I think hindi nawawala 'yung (love) kapag namatay na 'yung tao. Kahit hindi na kami, nandoon pa rin. Lalo pa yatang lumalabas kung ano ang nararamdaman mo towards the person kapag nawala na 'yung tao."
