Alwyn Uytingco pens heartfelt message for wife Jennica Garcia
All's well that ends well indeed for couple Alwyn Uytingco and Jennica Garcia as evidenced by a poetically written letter the actor penned for his wife on her birthday.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Alwyn likened Jennica to a work of art. He tastefully brought to words how much he loves and admires his wife's grace and beauty.
"Isa lang ako sa mga miron na gustong tumitig sa 'yo buong maghapon. Sa katotohanan, wala akong kapasidad na maiuwi ka sa bahay, mailagay sa magandang dingding at maipagmayabang sa mga tao. Wala akong kapangyarihan para angkinin ka, dahil kung tutuusin, ang Ama natin sa itaas ang siyang may karapatan na umangkin sa 'yo," he said.
"Pero kahit hindi man ako karapat dapat na maging parte ng kulay ng buhay mo, heto ka't nasa harapan ko, araw-araw na binibigyan ng pagkakataon na masilayan ka at masaksihan ang gandang taglay mo. Hindi ito nagtatapos sa isang hagod ng pintura, na parang isang hindi pa natatapos na mosaic, patuloy ang iyong pag-usbong at pagbibigay kulay sa canvas ng buhay," he added.
At the end of his composition, Alwyn expressed gratitude that he, after everything they've been through, is still included in Jennica's painting journey.
He also thanked her for all the joy in life she's brought not only to him but to everyone around her as well.
Alwyn and Jennica went through so much in recent months.
Just last May, Jennica announced that she and Alwyn have already parted ways. In her narration, the actress shared that their fallout began last March, the same time her grandmother passed on. With one heartbreak after another, prayer has been her fortress to keep herself together.
Adding to her ordeal is her and kids Athena Mori and Alessi contracting COVID-19.
Alwyn and Jennica secretly tied the knot in 2014. Yet even after their separation, Alwyn has consistently remained vocal about his love for Jennica and his intention to reconcile his family.
