MM Belarmino on her church wedding with Kevin Ferrer: 'A lot of fears and worries before this day'

The wife of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) cager and NorthPort Batang Pier forward Kevin Ferrer, MM Belarmino, can now breathe a sigh of relief after her church wedding pushed through last week.

Many events were postponed this month due to the spike in COVID-19 cases in the country.

Fortunately for MM and Kevin, they were able to hold their second wedding last week. The couple first had their civil union in November 2021.

In her Instagram post, Mrs. Ferrer wrote, “A lot of fears and worries before this day but by God's grace, we FINALLY made it! Thank You so much Lord for this blessing. Thank you for all your well wishes! We might not be able to respond to each and everyone of you but all your messages are very much appreciated!”

Kevin, who used to play for the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers in collegiate basketball, thanked everyone who made their church wedding possible.

“Sa dami-dami ng pagsubok na pinagdaanan, sa SIMBAHAN din ang tuloy! I would like to thank sa mga tao, suppliers at sponsors na kung hindi dahil sa inyo hindi magiging memorable ang special event naming mag-asawa @mmbelarmino . Thank you so much!”

Several big names in local sports also greeted the couple including Barangay Ginebra star player LA Tenorio, volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez, and former DLSU volleybelle Abigail Maraño.
