How Joyce Pring, Juancho Trivino 'kept their purity' before marriage

Joyce Pring opened up about how she and husband Juancho Trivino remained chaste before tying the knot in 2020.

“We struggled a lot but we did our best to avoid spending alone time in private places. We always spent time with our friends. We kept accountable to our mentors and disciples and best of all, we got married immediately,” she shared in an Instagram story.

The Kapuso host added that their shared faith was crucial to keeping their purity before marriage.

“One of our favorite things to say to each other when we felt 'tempted' was, 'If Jesus came back right at this moment, will what we are doing be glorifying to Him or will we feel shameful?'”

Joyce married Little Princess star Juancho Trivino in February 2020 after they grew close as co-hosts on GMA's Unang Hirit. They welcomed their first child Alonso Eliam in July last year.

Last Thursday, January 20, Joyce revealed that their family of three had recently recovered from their own battle with COVID-19.
