Instead of exchanging wedding rings, Glaiza De Castro and David Rainey literally tied the knot during their private wedding last October 2021 in Northern Ireland through handfasting.
Newlyweds Glaiza De Castro and David Rainey dropped their official wedding video on their joint YouTube channel after their wedding announcement on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on Sunday, February 13.
The four-minute video shows Glaiza and David's traditional Irish wedding where they received the Celtic blessing in a cliff in Northern Ireland with majestic views of the Dunluce Castle, a famous location of the popular American fantasy drama Game of Thrones.
Instead of exchanging wedding rings, the two literally tied the knot for their wedding vows through handfasting where the bride and groom tie their hands together as a representation of the binding of two lives. The wedding is a private affair between the couple and David's immediate family.
The wedding film, made by Paul Doherty--the videographer behind the music video of Glaiza's single, "Bank Holiday," shot in Donegal, Ireland--also features excerpts from the music video, as well as Glaiza and David's romantic getaways abroad.

Glaiza and David met in Siargao in 2018 and became a couple the same year.
The two got engaged after more than two years of being in a long-distance relationship.
