He said, "I'm here to formally say that I am a proud member of the LGBTQ community. And it feels great saying that publicly because I am.”

Meanwhile, Mond discussed in Wil Dasovich's "Superhuman" podcast the night he met his boyfriend.

"At dinner, we had a common friend [who] was visiting from Miami and he was also friends with that guy.

Mond added, "I was having my taste test for my birthday, and then my friend when we were walking outside, recognized the car parked in the next restaurant.

Mond and his friend decided to say hi. He shared, "So we said hi, I sat down and they were already having dessert. He comes out of the bathroom, sits next to me, and then we started chatting...We just happen to sit next to each other at dinner."

The two had instant chemistry and he felt it that evening. Mond told Wil and Carla Humphries, "There was chemistry there right away, obviously. I was interested, he was interested, I don't know, we just started talking."

Mond said that he invited him to his party and he showed up. Since then the two started talking more.

"I was like hey do you want to come to my birthday party in three days? He showed up. We just started chatting and we were the only gays at the table. It was kind of instant and from that day on... we went down to the DMs (direct messages)."

Mond said that the connection he felt with his boyfriend is something that he never felt in other guys that he met.

"The connection was pretty instant. I've met a lot of guys here in LA, but the connection is not there.

He continued, "Chemistry is very important and that's what we had that was lacking in the other people that I met here."
