Kyline Alcantara explains sweet hug with Mavy Legaspi during the NCAA All-Star Game

Kyline Alcantara did not falter with support for her special friend Mavy Legaspi during the NCAA All-Star Game last June 5.

Mavy, who was under Team Heroes, was cheered on by Kyline during the entire game. The young actress even wore Mavy's jersey and made a hand-made banner for him to show her undying support.

“Nandun ako, nandun yung buong team namin, and then yung mga friends and of course his sister to support him and gusto ko maenergize sya,” Kyline shares.

But aside from the cheers, Kyline and Mavy also shared a sweet moment on the court when Kyline attempted to shoot the basketball in the ring. After Kyline successfully shoots the ball, she runs to Mavy and hugs him. Mavy on the other end carried Kyline, hugged her, and was beaming with happiness over the actress' nice shot.

In an interview on GMA's 24 Oras, Kyline shares why they were overjoyed at that moment, “Siguro sampung tries muna bago ako makashoot kaya ganun nalang yung happiness ko and ni Mav nung nakashoot ako for the third attempt. So kaya ganun, like may pag talon, may pag hug talaga na mahigpit and sobra kasi talaga yung saya kasi it was really unexpected.”

Despite having no change in their relationship status, Kyline admits that Mavy weighs heavily in her heart. She says, “Yes, iba sya ngayon. Iba yung nararamdaman ko ngayon but the status is still the same.”
