"Congratulations to your new show idol," said Jak Roberto.
Event host Tim Yap couldn't help but notice how mesmerized Jak Roberto was with his girlfriend, Barbie Forteza, at the red carpet of GMA Thanksgiving Gala held last night, July 30.
In a short interview with the celebrity couple, Tim told Barbie and Jak, "I can see Jak's eyes sparkling while Barbie was doing poses. Ang sweet-sweet nitong dalawang 'to."
Barbie, who whore a white strapless slit dress with feather boa, said her outfit was a collaboration with fashion designer Joe San Antonio.
"I super love it when we get to collaborate. Alam mo 'yon, kahit papaano mayroon akong input sa look, even sa makeup by Toni Aviles. And my hair na super-super nice," said Barbie.
When asked what he thought of his girlfriend's look, Jak simply replied, "Gorgeous!"
The event also served as a birthday salubong for Barbie, who turned 25 today, July 31.
In an Instagram post, Jak proudly shared his photos with his girlfriend taken from GMA Thanksgiving Gala. On its caption, the Bolera actor wrote a birthday and congratulatory message for the GMA Primetime Princess, who is set to work on a primetime series titled Maria Clara at Ibarra.
He said, "Happy birthday to my gorgeous love of my life! Congratulations to your new show idol. And I'm always here for you, thank you for everything mahal ko I love you so much [heart emojis]"
