Mavy Legaspi reveals the moment he realized Kyline Alcantara was more than just a friend to him
Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara have been an official love team under Sparkle for more than a year now and for the entirety of it, fans have speculated that their relationship has been becoming more real as the days go by. With the number of sweet moments that the two have shared online, there is no doubt that people will start to talk and think that there's more to their "friendship" than meets the eye.
And in a new episode of their video podcast “MavLine on Me,” Mavy talked about the time he realized Kyline was more than just a friend to him. Although the onscreen couple and real life sweet friends are yet to confirm the real score of their relationship, Mavy admitted that he loves Kyline more than just a friend.
On the vodcast he shared, “The first time na na-realize ko na hindi lang kaibigan si Kyline para sa'kin is 'yung nagiging close na tayo [Kyline] sa AOS [All Out Sundays]. Umalis na si Cassy para mag prep for First Lady and all that. Tayo na lang naging close kasi umalis na si Migo nangibang bansa. Tapos there was a time na kami ni Ky, medyo awkward nung una kasi galing tayo sa apat eh.
“After that mas nagiging close and all that tapos siyempre nag ha-heart to heart [talk] na. You [Kyline] always open up to me about everything. As in everything. And during those times mas na-realize ko na “Shocks, I really want to protect this girl,” iba na talaga 'yung feeling. Hindi 'yung protect her as my friend. But iba na 'yung pagmamahal ko sa kanya na I don't want anyone to ever hurt her again.”
“Pag may mga issue ka, nahu-hurt din ako, two times, three times for you. If you're going through something, nahu-hurt din ako. Do'n ko narealize na shocks, iba na talaga 'yung feeling na 'yun,” Mavy admitted.
Apart from that, Mavy also disclosed to Kyline that he would have these “slow mo” moments whenever he would look at her. He shared, “Pag nakikita kita anytime we have work, nagsloslow mo ka. Madalas sya nangyayari sa stage [ng All Out Sundays] 'pag lumalabas ka. 'Yan 'yung slow mo moment ko. At nasasabi kong, 'Shocks, tumitibok na yung puso ko.'”
