In the middle of January, Gwen Zamora and David Semerad flew to France with their one-year-old son, Cooper John.
For netizens who followed Gwen and David's Instagram accounts, it was seemingly just a vacation. Unknown to many, Gwen and David already planned their wedding to be in France, Gwen's hometown.
A day before Valentine's Day, Gwen and David shocked netizens when they announced that they got married in a civil ceremony in France.
Gwen wrote in her Instagram post, "Meet the Semerads!!! We did it!! I love you as big as the Sky @djsemerad.”
Gwen and David got engaged in May 2019 and were planning on getting married on June 6, 2020, but they had to postpone their big day due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The couple has also considered holding their wedding at their cabin in Batangas but ultimately decided to have it in France, where Gwen's family was in attendance.
Aside from getting married, Gwen and David also explored the beautiful commune of Marcillat-en-Combraille in Central France, where Baby Cooper had a chance to meet his great-grandmother.
