Actor-host Vince Velasco took on an adventure that not many people get to make in this lifetime. He prepared to climb Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world.

The trip, however, did not go as planned as he had to be airlifted out and taken to the ICU eight days into the journey.

The extraordinary experience in Nepal reminded him that “it really isn’t about the destination [but rather] the journey.”
